TT Scoreboard

What is it?

As a player of local league table tennis, one think I noticed was how every club has a manual scoreboard. My idea was to bring that into a modern virtual age, with a digital scoreboard controller and view. I believe the app can bring a more exciting feel to matches!

How it works?

The application is built in flutter and comes with 2 main screens. Firstly the heart of the platform, the controller. Kept in a simplistic design, the scoreboard separates controls by home and away players or teams. Primary buttons to add and remove points from a player, along with actions for timeouts following table tennis league regulations. 

The second part of the application is the scoreboard. This will likely be used on external devices such as another mobile device, tablet, or even a tv with internet connection. Using Firestore Database for real-time tracking, meaning anyone can follow along in live time and track their scores.

The goal?

Initially, the idea came as learning to develop in languages are made easier when working towards something that can be used. With that being said, my ambition would be to spread this out throughout the local leagues for anyone to use.
